Timber transport from the sawmill: delivery, lorry-mounted crane and collection in person

Buying timber is only half the job. The other half is how to take delivery of it without ending up with five cubic metres of sawn timber in the street. Below are three routes our customers use, and what is worth stating in your enquiry.

Collection in person

The simplest option for smaller quantities. The sawmill is at ul. Lipowa 29 in Sulęcin, about 40 km from Gorzów Wielkopolski. We help with loading on collection; opening hours are Mon–Fri 6:00–14:00.

Delivery by lorry

Worthwhile for larger volumes. The cost depends on the distance and the weight, which is why we always give it together with the quote for the material, once you have told us the delivery location. The province and the town are enough.

HDS crane unloading

A lorry-mounted crane solves the "and how am I supposed to get this off the lorry?" problem. The hydraulic crane on the vehicle places packs of sawn timber directly on your site. No forklift and no four neighbours to help.

What to state in your enquiry so the quote is accurate

1. Material: species, grade, dimensions, quantity (in m³ or in pieces).
2. Delivery location; the province and the town are enough to start with.
3. An approximate date. For made-to-measure elements we add production time.
4. Unloading conditions: is there room to manoeuvre, is a crane needed.

We regularly ship timber to Germany and other European countries. We handle the paperwork and the conversation in the customer's language: Polish, English, German and, if need be, Ukrainian.
