Maple and sycamore timber

Maple and sycamore timber from the Drewno Pilarscy S.C. sawmill in Sulęcin (Lubusz). Grades AB and MIX, 28 and 52 mm, unedged.

Wide unedged boards in a pack, saw marks and grading marks

Maple and sycamore are the palest species we offer: cream to almost white, with a fine, even figure. The wood is hard, dense and polishes very well.

Sycamore is sought by instrument makers for the rippled figure that appears in part of the material. It is not in every log, so for that use it is worth asking about a specific batch.
